谷歌推出海洋版街景：不会潜水也能畅游海底
新浪科技讯 北京时间6月5日午间消息，谷歌街景地图服务周四推出了海洋插件，向用户展示深海海底风光。
谷歌这一海洋插件提供了丰富的互动图片，来自于与XL Catlin Seaview Survey、美国国家海洋和大气局(NOAA)下属国家海洋保护区办公室，以及Chagos Conservation Trust的合作。
6月8日是“国际海洋日”。谷歌希望，这一项目不仅能向人们普及海洋知识，也能使人们注意到当前海洋遭到的破坏。
谷歌在博客中表示：“海洋是全球大量生物的家园。这是一个生命支持系统，控制着从天气和降雨，到空气中氧气等所有一切。尽管非常重要，但由于气候变化、污染，以及过度捕捞，海洋正快速发生变化。这是我们目前面临的最严重的环境问题之一。”
通过带GPS位置标签的照片，谷歌还将制作照片时间轴，从而记录海洋环境的变迁。谷歌这一项目已经开展了4年时间。
谷歌将引入更多合作伙伴，收集更多照片，从而唤起公众对海洋环境的关注。(维金)
